1. Abimelech’s warning : Abimelech is the king of Gerar a town where Abraham & Sarah sojourned, because Abraham was afraid of being killed and his beautiful wife (Sarah) being acquired by the king of the land, he made Sarah disguise as his sister. 2. Jacob’s ladder: Jacob, the man who just cheated his brother of the family blessing, was on the run, stops to sleep one night and he dreamt of a great stairway stretching from earth to heaven, with divine being moving up and down… Gen 28;12 ff
3. Jacob’s call home:” its time to go home ” this is the call to Jacob in a dream, Jacob’s loves to the land of his relative Laban, where he marries Laban’s daughters and works.
